Set up at
the welcome gate to the Edmonton Bright Nites Festival,
this tree was meant to catch the eye of passing motorists
while using the crossfading capabilities of the Trinity
light sequencer. The pattern is short, simple, and fast:
the lights fade up while spiralling around the tree, slowing
as they brighten. The movement decellerates to a stop, then
reverses for a bit until all 4 channels are on. The tree
then fades out, and the pattern starts over.
