Recreating
the humble events of Christ's birth, the manger scene reaches
out beyond the plain stable with a mysterious charm that
touches everyone regardless of religious beliefs. Heralded
by the glorious Star of David overhead, all is brought together
for this: the heart & soul of our Christmas celebrations.
Joseph, Mary, and the shepherds... even the camels and oxen,
donkeys and sheep, all are welcomed into our global family.
And there is the baby King, lying quietly on the manger...
at the center of all things.
One of the favorite
displays at the Brite
Nites festival, the Manger scene had a subtle but (we
think) marvelous addition this season. The Star of David
now pulses, thanks to the addition of a 4 channel Trinity
Light Sequencer. This controller was programmed with a different
type of pulsation on each of the four channels in the unit.
From 4 slightly different pulsing effects, the customer
chose this one, where the star promptly brightens up, holds
at full for a moment, then slowly fades to black and then
immediately repeats.
