Finally the
mystery is solved - How does Santa find the time to wrap
all those presents? This gigantic fascinating machine shows
you how it's done!
The Wrap-O-Matic is perhaps the most
complex display at Edmonton's BrightNites Festival, with
several 'components' working seperately, and some working
in sync. The short looping video on the left gives an overall
view, while the video on the right zooms in closer &
pans from left to right, briefly introducing you to all
the 'Rube
Goldberg'-esque conveyors, chutes, levers, bells and
whistles. Finally we see a busy elf taking the finished
gifts from the machine and piling them on the far right.
Amusingly, attention paid to the second video reveals that
every so often, the elf has to give one of the gifts a second
push!
